Violin Bow “Atelier P.Camurat” (2015)

Maker: Pascal Camurat

This violin bow from the "Atelier P. Camurat" line was crafted by Pascal Camurat in his Montpellier workshop in 2015. The pernambuco stick is entirely handmade by Camurat himself, while the ebony frog and button, mounted in silver, come from the Paulus workshop in Germany—allowing this model to offer excellent craftsmanship at an accessible price level. The bow is sold with Camurat’s certificate of origin and is in excellent condition.

The round stick feels flexible, agile, and exceptionally responsive. It delivers clear articulation, and reliable projection, making it a lively and versatile tool for a wide range of repertoire. Players seeking a high-quality, French-style bow with an agile feel and fine tonal clarity will find this bow particularly compelling.

About the maker

Every musician remembers the moment they first held the instrument that would become an extension of themselves, the tool you spend hours with everyday. Yet finding that instrument is rarely straightforward. The process can be uncertain and often relies on chance — on who you happen to meet, what you happen to hear, and how much you are willing to risk. Luthieri's founders, Martinique and Rui, met while studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig and quickly realized that their experiences while searching for their instruments and bows, though different, revealed the same gap: musicians need clarity and trust in their search for instruments and bows, while luthiers deserve visibility and recognition for their craft. Your instrument is your voice, the sound connected to your art and the foundation of your expression. Every musician remembers the moment they first held the instrument that would become an extension of themselves, the tool you spend hours with everyday. Luthieri was created with this in mind — a platform where musicians can find makers they can rely on, and where luthiers can share their work with confidence, knowing it will reach the musicians who need it most.
